Rangjön is a Tibetan term meaning "self-appearing." It refers to naturally-arising deities, mantras, and sacred imagery which seem to naturally appear on various natural (or even constructed) surfaces. Stalagmites, rock outcroppings, natural walls, trees, mountains, and cliffsides can all produce rangjön images, just to list a few.

While this ring is not naturally formed, the unique patterns and textures produced through reticulation offer a one-of-a-kind imprint of the moment of the piece's creation, with all of its various causes and conditions.

Rangjön Bands are only produced during the waxing moon, when pacifying lunar energy offers extra potency to silver jewellery.

This ring pictured is hand-forged from from bulky 6mm x 2mm sterling silver, and can be made to order in any size.
